Orders

To process your order, we require your name, billing address, phone number, e-mail address, shipping address, and payment information. Typically, either a credit card processor or the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order are the only third parties to receive any of your personal information. Even in those instances, each party receives only the information necessary to facilitate the processing and fulfillment of your order. Your e-mail and phone number are used in case we have a question about your order. In the event of a problem with your order, we will try to contact you first by e-mail or by mail and then only telephone you in time-sensitive situations. Surveys

Occasionally we conduct user surveys to better target our content and products to our audience. We use the aggregated demographic information in these surveys for marketing purposes and reserve the right to share such aggregated information with our partners. Cookies

IP Address

We record IP addresses in the aggregate for monitoring the level of activity on our site and to determine how people arrive at weedthrasher.com, but we do not link this to your shopper ID or any other personal information disclosed by you while visiting any section of our site, with the following exception: When you place an order using our on-line checkout process, we record your IP address with your order to help us identify fraudulent credit card use. We may share this information with the financial institution that issued the credit card with which an order was placed, or with law enforcement authorities if we determine use of the credit card was fraudulent. Apart from that exception, we never share IP address information about any specific individuals with any third party.

Aside from the previously mentioned third parties involved in the processing of your order, we do not share your personally identifiable information with any other entities.

Security

We utilize industry standard SSL encryption when accepting your credit card information during our on-line checkout process. In addition, we utilize the same encryption standard when transferring your credit card data to our internal fulfillment system. To further enhance our security measures, our fulfillment system is not accessible via the internet and we delete from our web site database all credit card information within 24 hours of receipt. As we believe the security of your credit card information to be of the utmost importance, we do not offer a non-SSL encryption version of our order form. So, if you disable your internet browser's SSL compatibility feature, you will be unable to use our on-line shopping cart. However, you may still place an order by phone or postal mail.
